The Final Goals Projects 2025 research project showed me how The City School DHA Campus Lahore Grade 5 students developed their United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities project. The project shows how even young learners can create safer cleaner sustainable communities through their work. 

 Project Overview - The students engaged in a variety of hands-on and awareness-based activities which included the following activities: 

The students created posters to promote sustainable living. 

The team created public service announcements. 

The team created short educational videos. 

The team participated in an awareness walk to engage the community. 

The students organized a local clean-up effort. 

The class brought in an environmentalist speaker to explain natural disasters and climate impacts and sustainability methods which helped them understand environmental issues better. The students created
which focused on waste reduction and proper resource management.

Key Takeaways - People who learn about something will do something about it. The education materials show how people in the community will participate through their three awareness initiatives.

Young learners can make a difference. The clean-up effort shows that people of any age can create positive change.

The process of learning becomes better when students establish links between their schoolwork and actual life situations. Guest speakers make topics more meaningful and memorable through their presentations.

Final Reflection - The City School DHA Campus Lahore implemented the SDG Goal 11 project to demonstrate how student-led initiatives achieve real-world results. The Grade 5 students show through their combination of creativity research technology and physical actions that sustainable communities begin at the local level and every person has the ability to help achieve worldwide objectives.
