What Global Goal is most important?
My outlook:
So how do we get healthy!? Usually you’ll hear a family member, doctors, or teacher explain to you what is healthy and what isn’t. This project got more senses involved with special activities. These activities included a shopping activity, clay food making, and healthy sandwich making. The shopping activity had the student shop at a pretend grocery store to shop for healthy foods. The clay food activity involved students ‘making’ the food. The healthy sandwich making had them create a real sandwich using healthy fruits and vegetables
The project does include a few tips for being healthy. Eat fruits and veggies because they are nutritious. Exercise regularly! If you want more of a fun exercise, try a sport or ride your bike somewhere. Remember to wash your hands often to stay germ-free.

Hello Healther, my name is Jorge. I really enjoyed reading your post about Global Goal 3: Health and Well-Being. I liked how you explained that health is the foundation for everything else, because it’s true that it’s hard to focus or make good decisions if you’re not physically or mentally well. The activities you described, like the shopping activity and making a healthy sandwich, stood out to me because they make learning more interactive and fun. I think hands-on activities like those can help students better understand what healthy choices look like in real life.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with your point about mental health being connected to what we eat. It’s interesting to think about how nutrition can affect not just our bodies but also our minds. Do you think schools should include more hands-on health activities like these in their regular curriculum?
