Working as a team is always important when it comes to teaching. There are multiple grade levels usually in one building, and each grade level's teachers tend to collaborate together when it comes to lesson planning, fun activities, and up-to-date training. I was inspired by a post from the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching, which reminds educators that "effective collaboration directly drives instructional change when teams connect their work to student learning".
When using technology in education, it could help strengthen collaboration by sharing worksheets, lesson plans, crafts, and completed work amongst your grade-level teachers if they need ideas or plan to be in the same units that you are on. Some programs that can be used are Google Docs, Canva, Google Classroom, or Dojo.
Great teaching is always a combined effort. If you are planning on teaching after you graduate, the X site below has great collaboration ideas from teachers all around the world.
