HyperDocs

Google
 What are HyperDocs?

HyperDocs are sometimes referred to as just a Google Slides or doc with a bunch of links and other sources of media. However, they are actually a helpful tool; they are an interactive lesson that organizes all the information in one place, like a "hub". HyperDocs allows the teacher to use links and other media that can help guide the students' learning by allowing the students to go at their own pace, but also keeps the lesson structured so they stay on task. There are also a bunch of awesome templates online that can be used to help create hyperDocs for the classroom.

Why use HyperDocs?

HyperDocs promotes students to engage with an interactive lesson that can be personalized to their learning style, but also allows the students to go at their own pace. It allows the students to explore the material on the docs and it allows students to work together or individually. It's a fun tool for both the teacher and students.

My Reflection:

I think that Hyperdocs are a really cool tool that teachers can use in their classroom that provides a change of pace compared to just handing out worksheets. I think when I was in school I did things similar to this but I think they were called Webquest which I remember not really liking but with the Hyperdocs it seems to be more engaging and interactive, so overall more enjoyable for the students. I would try out HyperDocs differently in my future classroom.
